Barrett Hayton's current form is a stark cold spell, marked by a complete absence of offensive production through his three games this season, extending across his last five appearances. His zero goals and assists, coupled with a slight downturn in ice time despite being fully rested, indicate a player struggling to generate any tangible impact, making him someone to monitor from a distance rather than a must-watch.

Barrett Hayton, a former #5 overall pick, has carved out a distinct identity as a hard-nosed, playmaking center for UTA. With his career assists slightly outpacing his goals, he’s the type of reliable pivot who consistently facilitates secondary scoring and handles demanding defensive zone matchups. He's not the flashy star, but the indispensable structural piece who’s always in the thick of the action.
